OpenPHR is operated by Patient Journey Inc., a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to healthcare digital transformation, AI control towers, and open data interoperability standards.
The platform and fellowship incubator were founded by executive leadership with academic backgrounds in Math & Finance from the University of Pennsylvania and an MBA from the MIT Sloan School of Management. Our founder brings extensive corporate strategy experience leading AI control towers and healthcare revenue cycle management (RCM) operations.

Our fellowship pairs ambitious students directly with elite mentors to engineer a publication-ready research product—giving fellows a tangible, world-class portfolio piece designed to be credibly shared with college admissions officers, university researchers, and the broader technology community. While program contribution is optional, a recommended tax-deductible grant of $4,000 ensures dedicated 1-on-1 expert oversight, publication infrastructure, and sustains our 501(c)(3) foundation's research pipeline. Official tax receipts are provided upon enrollment.
