Open Volunteer Roles

As a 501(c)(3) non-profit, Patient Journey Inc. relies on the passion of the open-source community. We are currently recruiting volunteers across three core disciplines:

  • Machine Learning Engineers: Help us vet, optimize, and document new clinical AI models submitted to the marketplace.
  • Medical Reviewers: Clinicians and researchers needed to ensure our CareHub literature and trial datasets remain accurate and up-to-date.
  • Open-Source Marketers: Growth hackers needed to amplify our mission across Reddit, X, and the broader digital health community.

What is the time commitment?

We are completely flexible. Whether you can dedicate 2 hours a week or 20 hours a week, there are issues and tasks that fit your schedule.

Do I need healthcare experience?

Not at all for engineering roles. Only Clinical Reviewers are required to have an active medical background.

Is this paid?

OpenPHR is a 100% volunteer-run non-profit initiative. All contributions are open-source and unpaid, though contributors receive public recognition and references.
